Better late than never...our beach trip in August...

Well, we spent a week in Gulf Shores in August before the boys went back to school. We joined my parents, my sister's family, and some great friends of ours stayed right down the street. It was a beautiful week and looking at these pictures is making me "beach-sick"!!!
A Dub and her good friend Mollie.
Copie spent most of his time doing this...
Ann Welch took a nap on the beach every day. Around 2:00 she would crawl in either mine or David's lap and conk out. Here she is with my chub-a-wub nephew, Walker.

4 going on 16

I have to write this stuff down...so here goes...

Earlier this week AW had a bad dream. The dream was that Copeland only had a head and no body. I swear we don't let her watch anything scary on TV. This morning she said, "mommy, I just can't get it out of my mind...Copeland only having a head and no arms and legs."

This morning she asked me if she was going to wear her clogs with the outfit we picked out. It is raining outside, so I said that she would need to wear her rain boots instead. She said, "okay, I will try on the rain boots and see if they look good. If they don't, I will wear my clogs." David is worried.

Ann Welch is 4!

I tried to put this post in order. It's not. I am going to go insane b/c blogger is so frustrating!!

My sweet baby turned 4 today. I am old. :-( I took ice cream and sprinkles to pre-school today for her birthday snack. She got new cowgirl boots, a Baby Alive, and some arts and craftsy stuff. We are having a small party next week. Having two birthdays so close together is hard!

The "cake" from Bonefish. She picked Bonefish for her birthday dinner b/c of the "twirly" door you go through to get inside.
Guess she liked it!

Class par-tay

We had AW's Halloween class party today. It was so cute! I also went to their chapel they have every Friday. I cried. It is just so precious to hear 3-5 year-olds singing. It reminded me of all the children who don't have the "start" our babies are blessed with.

Lovin' "a dub"

God made the great big sun. God made the tall, tall trees.
God made the birds that fly so high, and God made ME!
I love this girl.
Her singing gives me peace.

Happy Birthday Ford!

My "baby" reached the double digits today. If I could have one super power, I would wish to keep my kids little. Seriously, he is half way to 20 and 1/10 of the way to 100. I can't handle it. Today was a day of reminiscing back to October 10, 1999. After pushing 2 1/2 hours, my sweet little cone head made his appearance. He was the sweetest, fattest baby.

He chose an Alabama cookie cake to share with his school friends and a dinner tonight at Dreamland BBQ b/c he wanted ribs. In a few weeks we are going to have some boys out to the Hilyer's farm for a boys-go-wild par-tay.

Both sets of grandparents were able to join us tonight and that was so special!!!

We love you Ford!! :-)
Mama Sue got some major lovin' from A Dub tonight.
Okay, this sign made the night for the boys. I just don't get it. Both my mom and my mother-in-law about passed out when they saw this sign in Dreamland. Hmmmmm...

Weekend w/ Uncle Edward

For some reason my pics aren't showing up below...here they are.

We had a cold, but great weekend. My brother, Edward, came to visit from Ft. Lauderdale. Ford and Edward went to see Alabama put it to S. Carolina!
Here are AW and Mollie at the boys' double header Sat. morning. We froze.

We went to the Fair Friday night and my camera battery went dead right after I took this one pic...
